CRAZY CLOTHES DAY/BAKE SALE

The
8th Grade class is sponsoring a Bake Sale and Crazy Clothes Day on
Friday, February 26th. Students who would like to participate in Crazy
Clothes Day will have to pay $2. Be totally uncoordinated in your
clothing! (Modesty Code is in effect).
USED BOOK SALE!
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH
NHA
is having a Used Book Sale this Friday, February 26th to raise funds
for Haiti. The book sale will be in the Founder's Room. If you have
books at home that you would like to donate to this event for sale,
please contact Mrs. Wright in the Tech Lab or Mrs. Acadia in the 2nd
grade class.
MD HEARING AND VISION TESTING
TUESDAY, MARCH 2nd
MD
Hearing and Vision will be testing students on Tuesday, March 2nd from
9 a.m. Children that are 3 and 4 years of age are free. All other
students will be charged a nominal fee. Flyers with the fees will be
sent home.
HAVE YOU SUBMITTED YOUR
RE-REGISTRATION PACKETS?
Re-registration
papers are due in the office to reserve your child's place for the
Sept. '10 - June '11 school year as soon as possible. Re-registration
fees are now $100 (for preschool $50). Your child will be competing for
placement with all new families who are currently applying. If you are
not re-registering your child, we need the deposit election form
indicating your choice.
NHA ORIENTATION & TOUR
SATURDAY, MARCH 20th
Join
us on Saturday, March 20th for an Orientation and Tour given by the
principal for prospective families. The orientation will begin
promptly at 10:00 am. We encourage current families to invite friends
to attend who are looking for a new school for their children. Don't
forget to provide your friends with a NHA introductory card (located in
the Main office or on the radiator in the lobby) with your name, which
will entitle you to a 5% tuition rebate for the first year if they
enroll.
AEROBIC CLASSES FOR PARENTS AT NHA
"Get
fit" for the summer. You are cordially invited to join the teachers and
staff for our weekly Wednesday Workout. Our workout consists of a
Hi/Lo 45 minute Cardiac Workout and Strength Training. We have a very
qualified instructor by the name of Chelsea Calhoun, owner and operator
of Groove Dance Fitness. The cost of the workout is $40.00/ 4-week
session. The class starts promptly at 4:15 pm in the gym.
CO-OP OPPORTUNITIES
New
Hope is looking for someone who is an experienced quilter who would
like to turn the Square One Art quilt squares into a quilt wall hanging
that can hang permanently in New Hope.
Coop
time, of $10 an hour, up to a maximum of $400, can be applied towards
their family's tuition, for the time they put into this project.
In addition the school will provide the funds for the additional
batting, cloth, thread etc... needed to complete the quilt. If you or
one someone in your family is interested in doing this please contact
the office to meet with Joy Morrow.
