11/13/08: Citrus Sale, College Fair

Greetings!

ATTENTION!!

Today, the NHA PTA began the Annual Citrus Sale with M.A. Wheat and Sons.  This is a great fundraiser and the fruit is absolutely delicious. 

We are selling:


 

Ruby Red Grapefruit: these are sweet, pink and can be eaten without sugar

SMALL BOX ($25.00): Approximately 20 pounds. Each small box usually contains 32, 36 or 44 oranges.


LARGE BOX ($41.00): Approximately 40 pounds. Each large box usually contains 64, 72 or 88 oranges.


Hamlin Oranges:  these are dark yellow to orange in color with a smooth thin peel. They are medium-sized and usually seedless, this great-tasting variety makes a great juicing orange.

SMALL BOX ($25.00): Approximately 20 pounds.  Each small box usually contains 18, 20 or 24 grapefruits.


LARGE BOX ($41.00):  Approximately 40 pounds.  Each large box usually contains 36, 40 or 48 grapefruits.

Navel Oranges: these are larger and have thicker peels.  They are usually a deep yellow to orange color. These oranges are most always seedless and are easy to open and separate. They are very sweet and juicy.  A great eating orange!

LARGE BOX ($45.00): Approximately 40 pounds.   Each large box usually contains 56, 64 or 72 navel oranges.
