Summer Programs
Are you looking for a summer camp for your child, but would like it
even better if it were a great educational experience too? We have the
activities you would find at summer camp - weekly swimming and field
trips, arts and crafts, sports and activities, and lots of fun - plus
learning experiences through computers, cooking, drama, games,
recreational reading, etc., so that it really is a complete summer
enrichment program!
There are two kinds of full-day summer programs. Our general "Discovery
Summer" enrichment program will have swimming, arts and crafts, team
sports, field trips, and various activities, like in previous years,
when we called it a "summer camp," but we're building up and
emphasizing the discovery and enrichment dimension more now. Click on

2009 NHA SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM- REGISTER NOW!
Register
now for NHA Summer Enrichment Program. There are a variety of
specialty programs and a general enrichment program that begins at
$160. A half-day Math program has been added for those who need to
refresh and strengthen their foundation in math for a minimal fee of
$100. Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, May 26 to
ensure we will have the program.
NHA INTERNATIONAL NIGHT 2009 JUST 7 DAYS AWAY!!!
New Hope Academy PTA will host its First International Night Celebration Friday, May 29, 2009 at 6:00 pm. The community-wide event will celebrate the diverse cultures represented in our student  body
and faculty. Sample foods from around the world and enjoy live
entertainment by Matzin Atzi-African Dance Troop, Chinese Lion Dance
Troop, Spanish Dance Troop and Silk Road Dance Company to name a few.
We are also very excited that Antonio from the WKYS Street Team will be
one of the Masters of Ceremony for the event as well as Alfred
"Hossman" Gussom, local comedian. Ticket prices have been reduced to
$15 for adults (12 & older), $5 for children. Your ticket includes
all the food you can eat, diverse cultural entertainment, and a
carnival themed party hosted by a live DJ and Steel Band. Food vendors
include Panda Express, Just Jerk, and Three Brothers and more along
with international home cooked favorites.
We
also have an exciting contest going on for the student who sells the
most tickets to receive $100.00! That's right $100.00 cash. The more
students we have putting forth great effort the more prizes we will be
able to award. Participants must turn in their money and envelopes no
later than Wednesday, May 27th. This is a family friendly event.
