LATE ARRIVALS & ABSENCES
Students that are tardy must sign in at the main office
before going to class. Students should
arrive at 8:30. You are considered late
for school at 8:40 a.m. If a student is
tardy five times, a detention will be issued and placed on the students
record. If you do not report to the
office you are absent, which will reflect on your records. If your child is going to be absent or late,
please notify the office at 301-459-7311.
DROP-IN
EARLY CARE & LATE CARE CHARGES
Please be aware that K-12th grade students who
arrive before 8:15 a.m. will be charged for "drop-in" early care,
unless they are signed up for Early Care. Families who need to use early
care or after care regularly, once or twice a week, can arrange to do so for a
nominal fee, thus avoiding the higher "drop-in" rate. Contact
the main office to make this arrangement. HEALTH FUNDRAISER: HOME COOKED DINNERS ON SALE!!!

WARM-UP LUNCHES FOR
K-4TH GRADES
This year we have implemented a new system to assist our
younger students with warming up their lunches.
In the morning, the teachers would collect any meals that needs to be
warmed and have them sent up to the Multi-purpose room. The staff on duty warms the lunches for these
students so that when they come in for lunch, they can begin eating. It has been a very successful program and
allows the students to have more time to eat.
We are asking that when sending warm up lunches for your child(ren) that
you label the container and that the meals have a warming time of 3 minutes or
less. Many students are bringing
Lunchables, sandwiches, etc. that require additional prep time. It is preferred that meals come to school
already prepared.
