New Hope Academy is participating in the National Geography Bee, and the 10 finalists will compete on January 14th at 10:30 am in the multipurpose room to determine the school champion who will then take a test to compete at the state level.
 
Also, our 7th and 8th graders are participating in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.  Our school bee will be held on January 15th at 1:55 pm in the multipurpose room.  The school champion will compete in the Prince Georges County Spelling Bee.
