Summer Programs

Are you looking for a summer camp for your child, but would like it
even better if it were a great educational experience too? We have the
activities you would find at summer camp - weekly swimming and field
trips, arts and crafts, sports and activities, and lots of fun - plus
learning experiences through computers, cooking, drama, games,
recreational reading, etc., so that it really is a complete summer
enrichment program!
There are two kinds of full-day summer programs. Our general "Discovery
Summer" enrichment program will have swimming, arts and crafts, team
sports, field trips, and various activities, like in previous years,
when we called it a "summer camp," but we're building up and
emphasizing the discovery and enrichment dimension more now. Click on
the link below for more details.

number of parents. We accept students from 5th grade through high
school. The purpose of the Summit is to get students excited about the
possibility of college, study and careers in science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics.
Program: Morning program:
The Summit program starts with a Mix and Mingle Breakfast, with a
keynote speaker and other speakers. This is attended by school and
elected officials among others. It is followed by a full schedule of
workshops on technology and career topics. Simultaneously, there are
parent workshops on finding the money and resources to pay for college
and on financing college through federal agencies that provide
employment during and after college. The workshop presenters are from
schools, government, and high-tech corporations. The lunch program
follows. There are exhibits open during the breakfast and lunch
programs.
